Miss Mary Jacque, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jacque of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., and Roy Quelle, also of Thorp, were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony at Holy Cross on Saturday, Jan. 11, 1930 at the Holy Cross Church at two o'clock in the afternoon, Rev. Wagner tying the nuptial knot.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Ella Jacque as bridesmaid and Harry Gengler, cousin of the bride, was best man.
The bride was charmingly attired in a gown of brown satin, with hat and slippers to match. She carried a shower bouquet of roses, white carnations and ferns. The bridesmaid also was attired in a brown satin dress with hat and slippers to match. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and chrysanthemums.
Following the ceremony the wedding party repaired tot he home of the bride's sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. George Kolbach, where a 5:30 dinner was served.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jacque and son Duane, John Jacque and children, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Momper and sons, Miss Leona McGrain and James Gengler.
The newlyweds departed for Thorp on Sunday morning where they will go to housekeeping on a farm owned by the groom.
