Blank, Almeda E. (30 JUN 1928)
A quiet and pretty wedding took place Saturday morning at eleven o'clock at the home of Mrs. Eunice Blank, when her daughter, Almeda Elizabeth, of this place (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) , was united in marriage to Edgar W. Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen of Owen, Clark County, Rev. Bennetts performing the ceremony, and Miss Ruth Thielke playing the wedding march. The bride was attended by Mrs. Cornell Erickson, sister of the groom, and the groom by Fred Dettmering, brother-in-law of the bride. The bride was attired in an orchid crepe gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses and carnations. The bridesmaid was dressed in tan crepe and wore a corsage bouquet of sweet peas and roses. The groom and best man wore the conventional blue. The rooms were beautifully decorated with pink and white peonies, blue forget-me-nots and ferns. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to twenty near relatives and friends of the bride and groom. They left in the afternoon for a short trip to Cashton and the Dells of Wisconsin. They will be at home after the fifteenth of July at Veser, Wis., where the groom is employed as a cheesemaker.
