Herrmann, Sadie (20 SEP 1910)
Miss Sadie Herrmann, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Herrmann of Stevens Point, was married at nine o'clock Tuesday morning to Orlando J. Koll, cashier of the state bank of this place (Dorchester, Clark County, Wis.) . The ceremony was performed at St. Joseph's Church at Stevens Point by Rev. H. J. Her, and the couple was attended by Alfred W. Koll of Theressa, and Miss Esther Herrmann of Stevens Point, brother and sister of the groom and bride respectively. Miss Sadie wore a gown of silk downe cut semi-princesse and her long veil was of tulle. She carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses. About thirty guests partook of a four course wedding dinner at the home of the bride's parents, prepared by Mrs. James Altenburg and served by Miss Teckla Huenther and Mrs. Al Gardner. The several rooms were prettily decorated in pink and green. Mr. and Mrs. Koll left Stevens Point on the 2:55 Soo train Tuesday afternoon for a ten day visit in Milwaukee and at his parent's home in Fond du Lac Co. On their return here they will go to housekeeping in a completely furnished home. The bride has been a resident of Stevens Point a good part of her life and also spent a couple of years at Dorchester, where she was wooed and won by Mr. Koll. She is an exceptionally goo looking young lady and has many accomplishments, and will make an ideal wife. Mr. Koll has been cashier at the bank here several years and has made a very favorable impression with all who know him.
The best wishes of many friends from Stevens Point and here are extended to the happy pair.. Among the guests from a distance were Louis E. Homstead and Miss Mabel Sprague of Dorchester, Miss Agnes Dowling and Miss Mary Laughlin of Wausau, Victor Guenther, Arthur Altenburg and family, Frank A. Richmond and wife of Knowlton, Mrs. Jacob Koll of Theressa, Mrs. Charles Dreher of Milwaukee and Mrs. Al Gardner, Jr. of Oshkosh.
