Walsdorf, Linda (4 JUL 1928)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized at St. Bernard's Church Wednesday morning, July 4th, 1928, when Miss Linda Walsdorf, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Walsdorf and Mr. Peter Luffy of Madison, were united in marriage, Rev. A. M. Muckerheide officiating.
The bride was attended by Miss Marie Walsdorf of Stanley and the groom by Clifford Possley of Thorp, both cousins of the bride.
The bride was attired in a Nile green georgette gown, trimmed with ecru lace and large hat to match and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and baby breath. The bridesmaid wore an orchid gown and carried roses. Both groom and best man wore conventional blue.
After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to the immediate relatives of the contracting parites, after which they left for a trip to southern, Wisconsin.
Both parties are highly esteemed by all, Miss Linda having been one of the successful teachers of Clark County for the past few years. Their many friends here join in wishing them a long and happy wedded life.
