Drescher, Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Silver - 9 September 1961)
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Saturday evening at Prust’s supper club. Seventy five relatives, neighbors and other area friends attended the celebration and dinner.
Frances Hoeft, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoeft, and Carl Drescher were married at the home of the bride’s parents in Granton September 9, 1936. They were attended by Ray Hoeft and Vivian (Drescher) Thiede, who were also at the Silver wedding anniversary Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Drescher have two children, Richard 19 and Carol Ann, 14, both at home. Carol Ann baked the anniversary wedding cake.
