Horner, Edward #2 (18 JUL 1887 - 24 APR 1958)

 

At two o’clock Sunday afternoon funeral services were held at the Myre Funeral Home, Loyal, for Edward Horner, 70, who passed away a week ago today at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.  The Rev. Wendell Bennetts, Methodist pastor, officiated at the final rites and conducted services held at the Beaver Cemetery.

 

Mr. Horner was born in Beaver Township (Clark Co., Wis.) July 18, 1887, and lived in Clark county all of his life.  At the age of 18 he purchased the farm where he had since resided.  He married Martha Witte Sept. 24, 1919 in the town of Unity.  There were four children born to this union, Emil at home, Margaret and Orville, Eau Claire and Elmer who died in infancy.

 

Other survivors are two grandchildren; a brother, Herman, Detroit, Mich.; and four sisters, Mrs. David Popia, Miss Emma Horner, Mrs. Chauncey Johnston and Mrs. Clarence Taylor, all of California.
