Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. Albert (60th - 16 October 1961)
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kalsow of Neillsville observed their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday.
Albert Kalsow and Mary Hoffmann were married October 16, 1901, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe with the Rev., F. W. Thrun officiating. After their marriage they lived 27 years in Weston. He helped to build many barns and residences in the Greenwood, Christie and Neillsville areas.
After spending five years in Milwaukee, they returned to Clark County and located in Neillsville. In 1934 they purchased the residence in which they now live on West Fourth Street. Mr. Kalsow continued in the carpenter trade for many years.
They have four children: Victor of Menomonee Falls, Mrs. Ernest (Fala) Gloff of Marshfield, Mrs. Edwin (Leona) Sternitzky of Granton, and Mrs. Walter (Evelyn) Grottke of Pine Valley. They also have 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Dinner and supper were served to members of the immediate family. Friends gathered to pay their respects in the evening.
