On Sunday, January 9, a confirmation service was held at the Salem United Methodist Church in Dorchester.
Michael Adedokun, pastor for the Medford Charge of the United Methodist Church, conducted the confirmation ceremony for five area youth during the regular worship service.
Those being confirmed and becoming neew member of the Dorchester Salem UMC were Joy Adedukun, Trent Lietzow, Wayne Steckbauer, Calvin Breitrick and Kendra Aldinger.
A celebration luncheon was held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
