Randy and Sheila Scheffler, Athens, announce the engagement of their daughter, Angel, to Brant Petrie, son of Joe and Laura Petrie, Athens.

Angel is a 2007 graduate of Athens High School and is currently in the veterinary technician program at Globe University, Eau Claire.

Brant is a 2009 graduate of Athens High School. He is currently an Airman in the United States Air Force, stationed in Ramstein, Germany.
