Shari Gumz and Ryan Preisinger, Colby, were united in marriage on August 14, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, with the Rev. Mark Neumann officiating. 

The bride is the daughter of DuWayne and Sue Gumz, Colby. Her husband is the son of Mike and Marie Preisinger, Colby. 

Flower girl was Taylor Tyznik, Medford and ring-bearer was Braiden Johnson, Athens. 

Matron of honor was Wendy Johnson, Athens, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Natalie Pinter, Houston, TX, friend of the couple, Megan Zocher, Dorchester, friend of the couple, Candice Meyer, Dorchester, friend of the couple, Cody Gumz, Abbotsford, sister-in-law of the bride, Jena Preisinger, Abbotsford, sister of the groom, Amber Umlauft, Stetsonville, friend of the couple and Nikki Beyer, Medford, friend of the couple. 

Best man was Nick Stuttgen, Colby, friend of the couple, Groomsmen were Tyler Tyznik, Medford, friend of the couple, James Johnson, Athens, brother-in-law of the bride, Jared Younker, Minneapolis, MN, friend of the couple, Dustin Gumz, Abbotsford, brother of the groom, Justin Ellenbecker, Abbotsford, friend of the couple, Shawn Tyznik, Medford, friend of the couple, and Matthew Schnabel, Stetsonville, friend of the couple.

A reception was held at the Stetsonville Centennial Community Center with 350 people attending.

The couple honeymooned in Cody, WY.

Shari graduated from Colby High School in 2007 and is attending Mid State Technical College for nursing. She is currently employed as a CNA at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Ryan graduated from Colby High School in 2004 and is co-owner of Sparky’s Sport Shop in Colby. 

The couple resides in Colby.
