The Wausau Regional Youth Fellowship Rally will be held at Schofield Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m.  Those wishing to go, contact the Rev. Orval Egbert.

 

The Rev. Robert Symers, a missionary to India, will speak at Grace Methodist Church Monday at 2:30 p.m.   Following the program, women will serve lunch. Everyone is welcome.

 

The Greenwood Center Homemakers project meeting on "Meats" will be held Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Clark Electric Building.

 

The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Denk was baptized Sunday morning by the Rev. Edward Hartung at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  He was named Russell George. The sponsors, Mr. and Mrs. John Denk, were entertained at the Denk home following the rites.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Toburen of Burbank, Calif. were Thursday and Friday guests at the home of Mrs. Erwin Toburen.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Stevens and daughter of Stetsonville visited Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Kelty.  Other recent guests there were Mrs. Joe Walters and Mrs. Emil Habelian of Loyal, and Mrs. Ruth Stowe and son of Abbotsford.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Keiner of Rock Dam were Friday callers at the Hugh Severson home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen and son, Delmain, and Miss Carole Dillenbeck, visited Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Fravert.

 

The Confraternity of Christian Doctrine discussion club met Sunday evening at the Bernard Kitzhaber home. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Larson, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lindner, Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Yaeger.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Peters are the parents of a son, Richard Steven, born Tuesday.

 

Lewis Kaudy has returned after being dismissed from the veterans’ hospital in Minneapolis, where he had been a surgical patient.  Visitors at the Kaudy home last week were Matt Lindner and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Thomas, Harry Richardson, Sam Ortwig, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Metcalf, Kenneth Metcalf, Dale Northup of Neillsville, and George Leubke of Cudahy.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zivney of Owen were Thursday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Kenyon.

 

Sunday afternoon and supper guests at the Hugh Severson home were Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Gotz of Pittsville and Mrs. Christ Keiner and daughter, Louise. Saturday evening guests were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sheets and children of Boyd and Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Lester Schuette of Unity visited them.

 

Mrs. Henry Keller returned Sunday after spending two weeks in Somerset, Ky., with her mother Mrs. Janie Brown, and with her son, Joseph Abbott and his family, in Butler.
