Hewett Township (16 November - 1961)
A corn-shredding bee was held Saturday at the William Schulz farm, east of Wildcat Mound, Town of Hewett.
Mr. Schulz has been a patient in Memorial Hospital with ulcers. Mrs. George (Dorothy) Mashin, a neighbor, is staying with Bill’s sister, Georganna, and Mr. and Mrs. George Poertner have been assisting with the chores.
Herbert Aspen of Mt. Prospect, Ill., will arrive Friday to visit at the William and Georganna Schulz farm and will do some deer hunting near Wildcat Mound. He will also visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen in Neillsville.
