Boxrucker, Anton (17 May 1886 - 16 November 1961)
Anton Boxrucker, 75, a resident of Owen, died suddenly November 16, at his home. Death was attributed to heart failure.
The funeral was held November 20 from Holy Rosary Church in Owen, with the Rev. H. L. Krubel officiating. Pallbearers were: William and James Hennlich, Roger Gilbertson, Duane Peissig, Dale Peissig and Ronald Decker. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
He was born May 17, 1886, in the Town of Medford, and married Ella Wolff December 29, 1902, in Medford. Years later they moved onto a farm north of Curtiss, where he lived until he retired, finally settling in Owen.
Survivors besides Mrs. Boxrucker are: two sons, Albert and Walter of Owen; Mrs. Martha Peissig, Owen; Mrs. Selma Gilbertson of Taylor; Mrs. Marie Decker of Atwood; Mrs. Joe (Hattie) Hennlich of Dorchester; and Mrs. Virgil (Alice) Brock of Louisville, Ky. Nineteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren also survive. Brothers and sisters are: Mrs. Martha Simerson of Milwaukee; Jake of Stetsonville, John of Abbotsford, Joe of Colby and Casper of Athens.
