Mrs. Neis, 84, Resident Of Lodi, Is Dead
LODI-Mrs. Albert Neis, 84, Lodi, died Saturday in a Richland Center hospital.
The former Mildred M. Shaw was born in Clark County, Wis. She married Albert Neis in 1904 at Neillsville. They moved to the Lodi area in 1912. Mr. Neis died in 1955.
For many years, she was the Lodi correspondent for The Capital Times and the Portage Daily Register. She was a member of Lodi Methodist Church, the WSCS, and the Miriam Circle. She was a 45-year member of the Women's Relief Corps.
Surviving in Madison is a son, Charles, and a grandson, James, both of 5753 Bittersweet PL.
Also surviving are another son, DeVere, Lodi; a n o t h e r grandson, Kenneth Franklin,
and six great-grandsons.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Hamre Funeral Home, Lodi where friends may call after 3 p.m. today.
