Grimes, Joanne (Marriage - 25 November 1961)
Miss Joanne Grimes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Grimes of Owen, and Gene Altenburg, son of Mrs. A. C. Altenburg now of Portland, Ore., were married November 25 in Owen. The Rev. Ralph Claybough officiated.
The bride’s attendants were Kathleen Thorson, Kathryn Cullen and Jane Grimes. Attendants of the groom were his brother James, Richard Hughes and Richard Hoffman. Ushers were DuWayne Haselow and Tom Parish. John Butler sang two numbers.
A reception was held in the church basement for approximately 200.
