Sturtz, Carol (12 DEC 1953)
Now at home on a farm near Globe are the newly-weds, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen.
Wearing a dress of blue-gray silk, street length and with three-quarters length sleeves, a navy blue hat, and a corsage of red roses, Miss Carol Jean Sturtz became the bride of Wilbur Hagen at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12.
The ceremony was performed in the Lutheran parsonage at Globe, the Rev. Adolph Schumann.
The bride is the daughter of Howard Sturtz, Sr., Loyal, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kalsow, Neillsville, R. 3.
Miss Edna Kalsow, Neillsville, a cousin of the groom, was chosen by the bride for her maid of honor, and the groom selected for his best man, Donald Sturtz, Milwaukee, brother of the bride.
Following the ceremony a reception and dinner was held for 50 guests in the American Legion Memorial Hall at Neillsville. A wedding dance was given in the evening.
