Hennig, Susan (16 AUG 1958)
Miss Susan Lynn Hennig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold J. Hennig, Wausau, and Larry Dean Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil A. Hansen, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), were married in the chapel of St. John’s Episcopal Church of Wausau Saturday, Aug. 16, 1958, before the Rev. William F. Donnelly.
Eggshel brocade fashioned the bride’s gown, with a fitted bodice, scooped neckline, and full skirt in popular ballerina length styling the dress. Her shoulder length veil fell from a tiny brocaded hat trimmed with seed pearls. Her bouquet was an arrangement of lilies and stephanotis and ivy.
Mrs. Gerald Koperski, the bride’s sister, was her only attendants. She wore a toast colored taffeta sheath with cowl neckline and back panel for fullness. A matching feather clip with brief veil and a bouquet of figi mums and ivy completed her attire.
William Reinke, Thorp, was best man. A reception followed the ceremony with a buffet supper, both in the Guild Hall. The couple will have a brief honeymoon before residing in Minneapolis, Minn., where the groom is associated with Archer-Daniels Co., and the bride will complete her schooling. The groom is a graduate from Wis. state College at Eau Claire and the bride completed her sophomore year at the same school.
