Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer returned home Saturday night after visiting a month with their children at Marion, Ill, and Oconomowoc. They also attended a wedding at Helenville, Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap and Donald Kalsow spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Sternitzky and family, near Granton.
Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kalsow and daughters, Petra and Pearl of Neillsville, and Miss Helene Kalsow of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Kalsow and daughter, Lois, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Wold and son were dinner guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow, honoring Mrs. Kalsow’s birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Victor Schlinkert and daughters were guests at the Walter Johnson and Claude Westphal homes Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Timmler, Greenwood, spent Friday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow. They had supper with them, also.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Appleyard and children visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Gerhardt and family were New Year’s Day Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughters.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, Mrs. Hilda Thoma and August Meyer were dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family.
Mrs. Martha Hoffmann was a dinner guest and spent a few hours with Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap New Year’s Day.
Mrs. Charles Guk of Granton returned home Wednesday after spending the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughters.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family spent New Year’s Eve with Mr. and Mrs. Grodon Thoma and daughters.
Mrs. Kurt Schoenherr and children, Jerry, Donny and Kurt, Jr., of Columbus were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux Thursday. They also visited other relatives in and around Neillsville returning home Sunday.
Frederick Grap, Sr., drove to Rockford, Ill., Tuesday, taking his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap there. They will spend several weeks at the home of their grandson, Ronald Grap. Mrs. Herman Dux accompanied them. She was an overnight guest of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Northup.
Mrs. Herbert and Leo Henchen will entertain the Lutheran Ladies Aid Society at the school this (missing words).
