Dutzle, Betty (30 AUG 1958)

Multicolor gladioli, roses and carnations decorated the altar of Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Owen for the marriage of Betty L. Dutzle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dutzle, and Charles Frane, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Frane, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), which took place on Saturday, Aug. 30, 1958.  Officiating at the 9:00 a.m. ceremony was the Rev. H.L. Crubel.

On the arm of her father the bride entered the church wearing a floor length dress with a fingertip veil.  She carried a colonial bouquet of red roses.

Mrs. Wayne Kuntz, Abbotsford, the groom’s sister, served as matron of honor, and Ellen Glenzer and Judy Strohkirch, both of Owen, served as bridesmaids.  They wore dresses of orchid chiffon over taffeta of ballerina length and carried nosegays of purple tinted carnations.

Barbara Frane was flower girl and Scot Strohkirch acted as ring bearer.

Attending the grooms were Wayne Kuntz, Abbotsford, as best man, and Glen Frane and Harold Utke, both of Curtiss, as groomsmen.  Roger Dutzle and Roy Frane were ushers.

A dinner and reception were held at the American Legion Hall and a dance at Colby Park.  Lunch was served at the Theodore Frane home after the dance.

The groom is a graduate of Abbotsford High School.  The bride, a graduate of Owen High School, has been employed by the L. M. Berry Co. in Milwaukee.

The couple will make their home in Curtiss.
