Loyal, Wisconsin (18 January 1962)
At the annual stockholders meeting of the Citizen’s State Bank of Loyal directors were re-elected. They are: James R. Colby, George Weyhmiller, Joseph Esselman, Vernon Loos and Durward Schwarze.
At a directors’ meeting following, Mr. Colby was re-elected president; George Weyhmiller, vice-president; Paul A. Davel executive vice-president and cashier; George Zuehlke, Jr., assistant cashier; and Ewald Schlinsog, assistant cashier and manager of the Granton branch.
Mr. Davel read the financial report, which placed total resources at $4,428,178, an all time high. Interest paid to depositors in 1961 was $54,413.11; Federal and State income taxes amounted to $15,705.54; and dividends paid to stockholders were $10,000.
Mr. Davel also gave a report on modernizing and remodeling progress.
Rev. and Mrs. Paul Dekker and children of Sierra Leone, West Africa, are spending a three week vacation at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Celon Gotter.
Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Lee have returned home after accompanying their son, Willard to Glen Moore, Pa., where he will attend school.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Gorsegner returned Tuesday after spending two weeks in Florida.
