Brecker, Adolph A. (21 January 1896 - 13 January 1962)
Services were held January 16 at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral home in Owen for Adolph A. Brecker, Owen, who died January 13, at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.
Brother Morehouse of Chicago officiated, and burial was made in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
Mr. Brecker was born January 31, 1896, in the Town of Unity. His boyhood was spent there and later Chicago.
He was married to the former Jennie Pikola in the Town of Green Grove September 12, 1917. They lived first in the Town of Beaver, later in Loyal, Stevens Point and Chicago for 12 years, where he became a masseur. He later moved to Owen, where he lived until his death.
A son, Owen of Key West, Fla., survives besides his wife; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Rose) Awe; and a brother, Frank, Town of Unity.
The pallbearers were his nephews.
