Graham, Bruce A. Sr., (October 5, 1935- April 5, 2011)
Bruce A. Graham Sr., 75, Medford, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at his residence under the care of Hope Hospice.
He was born Oct. 5, 1935, in Lincolnwood, Ill., and attended
Lincolnwood Elementary School and Arlington Heights High
School.
On Aug. 3, 1957, he married Patricia "Pat" J. Boyd in Arlington Heights, Ill.
Graham served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 being stationed in
Korea. After his time in the service he worked as a manager for
A&P Grocery Stores in Medford, Wausau, Marshfield and
Milwaukee. He was then a road worker for Marathon County and at
Weyerhauser in Marshfield. He then worked for Kenworth in Green Bay
in the Parts Division.
He enjoyed garage saling and visiting family. Graham was a member
of the Loyal American Legion.
He is survived by his children, Bruce (Colleen) Jr., Colby, Robert
(Patricia), Medford, Gerald (Janalee), Withee, Cherrie (Mark)
Frost, Withee, and Constance (Halbert) Vanderhoof of Chili; 20
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John (Bev)
Graham of Roselle, Ill., Thomas Graham, Medford, and Daniel
(Bernadette) Graham, Henderson, Nev.; three sisters, Rose Asmussen,
Fontana, Pricilla (Ivan) Dvoracek Lakewood, Ill., and Katherine
(Bill) Sparks Greenup, Ky.
He was preceded in death by seven brothers, William, Barney,
Grover, Norman, Wayne, Kenny and George Graham; and two sisters,
Patsy Robinette and Edith Coleman; his father, William H. Graham;
and mother, Emma F. Koska.
A time of gathering was held Saturday, April 9, 2011, at the Frosty
Hill Farm at W6822 Bridge Road in Withee. Pastor Mark Neumann
presided.
