Thibert, Archie #2 (1875 - 14 OCT 1958)

A Requiem High Mass was conducted at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Friday morning, Oct. 17, for Archie Thibert, age 83, who passed away at his home after a long period of illness.  Funeral services were officiated by Father Hubert L. Crubel.

Interment was held at the Riverside Cemetery.  The pallbearers were Sam Munson, Raymond Munson, Richard Nelson, Tony Jensen, Morris Martin and Carl Barfknecht.

Mr. Thibert was a pioneer resident of Frenchtown community for about 70 years.  He and his wife, Agnes, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1949 to recall marriage vows of 1899 at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes, and his son, Lionel, at home, three daughters, Mrs. Edwin J. McElroy of San Gabriel, Calif., Lucy Thibert of Monrovia, Calif., Mrs. Bernard Barrett of Campbell, Calif., and three granddaughters.  He also leaves to mourn, a sister, a brother and a host of friends.
