Mr. and Mrs. John Wenzel spent this weekend with friends in Nekoosa.
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Dolan of Minneapolis, Minn., arrived here Monday to visit at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Funk.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nielsen visited in Withee Sunday and attended the dedication services at the Nazareth Lutheran Church; they also visited his sister, Mrs. Freitag, who is a patient at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Erling Jensen and family of Cedarburg came Saturday to visit relatives and attend the dedication services at Nazareth Lutheran Church. Rev. Jens Holst, Mrs. Jensen’s father of Marquette, Neb., was here for the dedication as a guest speaker.
The Women’s Society of Christian Service will hold the monthly meeting in the Methodist Church Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Emma Bermester and Mrs. George Bermester will serve. Everyone will be welcomed.
Mr. and Mrs. Basil Wenzel and children visited Sunday at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Greaser at Amherst.
Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck motored to Minocqua Sunday for a short visit with friends.
A2/c Robert Boening of Chanute Field arrived Monday for a two week visit at the home of his mother, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wiedman, and other relatives. Mrs. Boening and children who have been vacationing here for the past two weeks will return to their home with him.
Mr. and Mrs. Abe Thorson left Monday for Washington to be present at the funeral of their son, who was buried Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wendt and children spent the weekend in Madison with relatives and visited with their son, Edward Jr., who is a freshman at the University.
Rev. Jens A. Holst of Marquette, Neb., visited friends and attended the dedication services of the new Nazareth Lutheran Church Sunday.
