Lumbermen Getting Ready For Their Annual Harvest.

MARSHFIELD, Wis. Nov. 26--Lumbermen are bestirring themselves preparatory to their annual harvest in the woods.  The John Arpin Lumber company intends hauling by rail 8,000,000 feet of logs from the vicinity of Cedarhurst to their mill at Arpin.  The Hatteberg Veneer Company has contracted for $400,000 feet of hard wood at a point near Greenwood, and will transport the same over the Wisconsin Central to their plant here (Marshfield).  The John Stadt Lumber company of Stratford has commenced skidding logs under favorable conditions.  This company contemplates banking 4,000,000 feet this season.  They are located in a fine hardwood belt.
