Faucher, Marie Frances (Marriage –27 January 1962)
The altar of Christ the King Catholic Church in Spencer was adorned with pink snapdragons and white ‘mums Saturday for the wedding of Miss Marie Frances Faucher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Faucher, Rt. 1 Spencer, and Richard Arthur Strey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Strey Rt. 2, Loyal.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. A. H. Bofenkamp officiated. The church choir furnished nuptial music.
Miss Faucher wore a floor length gown of lace and nylon tulle over faille taffeta. The bodice was styled with a rounded scalloped neckline, embroidered with sequins and pearls. Her fingertip veil cascaded from a crown of sequins and pearls.
The bridal shower bouquet was an arrangement of red carnations.
Attendants were Mrs. Harold Fleischman, Marshfield, matron of honor, and Miss Kathleen Faucher, Spencer, bridesmaid. They carried bouquets of white carnations.
The groom’s attendants were Harold Fleischman, as best man, and Thomas Strey, Loyal, groomsman.
