MacFarlane, Stanley C. (26 JUN 1897 - 29 NOV 1958)
Stanley C. "Packey" MacFarlane, a former resident of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) and for years engaged in the baking business, died at his home in Stanley, Wis., Saturday morning. Funeral services were held at 2:00 o’clock Monday afternoon with Rev. Cecil Ward officiating at the Methodist Church in Stanley. Burial was made at Oakland Cemetery, Stanley.
He was born at Woodland, Wis., June 26, 1897, and came to the Stanley area with his parents at the age of four.
He was a baker by trade, working in shops in Stanley and Owen. He purchased the Stanley Bakery in 1930 and operated the shop until 1932. He then went into the furniture repair business, which he operated up to the time of his retirement two years ago.
On Oct. 11, 1930, he married Mable Nelson at Minneapolis, Minn.
Among his survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Allen Danielson, Cornell, and a grandchild.
