The Christie Parent-Teacher Association will meet this (Thursday) evening at 8:15 at the Mound School. Supt. Ivan W. Lauscher of Neillsville will speak on the hot lunch program, kindergarten transportation and special teachers in the rural areas. A lunch will be served.
Frank Kaczor and Dave Eddy, employed in Kenosha, visited home folks in Christie and Merrillan, respectively, last weekend.
Ginger and Larry Hansen and Richard Seelow of Milwaukee visited last weekend at the Jess Tomlinson home.
