Gorsegner, Christian C. (18 MAR 1889 - 30 DEC 1958)
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 5, 1959, at 1:30 p.m. at the Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley, for Christian Carl Gorsegner, 68, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1959, at Seattle, Wash. Rev. J. Fisher officiated and burial was in Oakland Cemetery, Stanley.
The deceased was born March 18, 1889, in the town of Reseburg, Clark County. He married Pearl Warner in 1910 at Stanley, who preceded him in death Dec. 9, 1953. He was a blacksmith and Supt. of Stanley Wood and Ware Co., in Stanley for a number of years, and in 1935 went to Jump River and was in the logging business until 1954 when he retired and moved to Holcombe for a short while and then moved to Seattle, Wash. In Aug. 1954 he marriage Mrs. Lillian Ketchum at Ladysmith.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian, three sons, Clarence, Loyal; Russell and Richard, Jump River; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers, Gust, Thorp; Carl, Withee; Emil, Ferndale, Wash., three sisters, (Rose) Mrs. William Warner, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Edith Buss, Thorp, and (Louise) Mrs. Herman Doege, Greenwood.
