McCanaha, Laura (13 APR 1871 - 4 FEB 1959)

 

Friends of Mrs. Laura McCanaha were saddened by her death which occurred Feb. 4, 1959.  Death was due to pneumonia.

 

Funeral services were conducted from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral parlors by the Rev. Ralph Claybaugh at 2:00 o’clock Monday afternoon.  The Mesdames Herbert Lehnen and Edward Hamm rendered vocal selections and were accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Pete Christopherson.

 

Ray Slock, Morris Martin, Fred Hoeper, August Slock, Edward Hamm and Peter Kaleta were pallbearers.

 

The deceased was born April 13, 1871 at Red Oak, Iowa.  On Jan. 7, 1900 she was united in marriage to Orval McCanaha and they made their home near Richey, Mont., until the year of 1921.  They then moved to Sidney, Mont, and after a short period of time moved to Glasgow, Mont.  Prior to making her home at the Havenet Nursing Home she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Arnold Hoeper, Withee.
