Seefeldt, Violet A. (13 MAR 1919 - 21 APR 2011)
SPENCER -- Violet A. Seefeldt, 92, formerly of Spencer, passed away
peacefully Thursday, April 21, 2011, at the Clare Bridge Senior
Living Center in Kenosha.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011,
at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. David DePaoli will
officiate. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday
at the church. Burial will take place in the North Spencer
Cemetery. The Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer is assisting
the family with arrangements.
Violet was born March 13, 1919, in Wisconsin the daughter of Walter
and Bertha (Koch) Fischer. She attended the Spencer Area Schools.
The former Violet Fischer was united in marriage on June 28, 1939,
to Arnold Seefeldt at St. John's Lutheran Church in Spencer. The
couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the Spencer area until
retiring.
Mrs. Seefeldt was a member of the Trinity Luther Church in Spencer.
She was also a member of the Homemaker's Club for more than 60
years. Violet enjoyed the outdoors and especially liked
gardening.
Mrs. Seefeldt is lovingly survived by her children, Duane Seefeldt
of McHenry, Ill., Ronald (Karen) Seefeldt of Spencer, Darla
(Raymond "Ray") Emond of Twin Lakes, and Roxanne Seefeldt of
Lindenhurst, Ill.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She is further survived by two sisters, Jane Bennett and Geraldine
Vick; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She
will truly be missed.
Besides her parents, Walter and Bertha; and husband, Arnold; Violet
was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald "Bud," Raymond
"Ray," and Richard "Dick"; as well as three sisters Florence,
Darlene and Ruth.
