Breseman, Marian T. (6 JUN 1914 - 16 APR 2011)
Marian T. Breseman, 96, formerly of Chili, died Saturday, April 16,
2011, at the Marshfield Care Center under the care of Ministry Home
Care Hospice Services.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at
the Rembs Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel
officiating. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Chili at a
later date.
Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Rembs
Funeral Home and again Wednesday until time of the services.
Marian was born June 6, 1914, in Lincoln township, Wood County, to
Henry and Mary (Gleichsner) Heckel. She attended Ebbe School in the
town of Lincoln.
She was united in marriage to Harlow B. Breseman on Jan. 30, 1939,
at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. Harlow died March 4,
1985.
They farmed in the townships of Lincoln and Fremont, Clark County,
until retiring. Marian enjoyed quilting, crocheting and doing
crafts.
She is survived by her son, Vern (Corrine) Breseman of Chili; six
daughters, Mary (Tom) Lila of Wisconsin Rapids, Donna Fieber of
Marshfield, Darlene Breseman of Monroe, Betty Breseman of Madison,
Nancy Breseman of Neenah and Jane Breseman of Madison; nine
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is further
survived by one brother, Alvin (Ruby) Heckel of Marshfield, and two
sisters, Betty Rankel of Colby and Alma Markowski of Marshfield,
and a sister-in-law, Alice Heckel of Marshfield.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harlow,
infant daughter, two sons, Harvey and Clifford, two brothers, Carl
and Ed Heckel, and one sister, Mildred Lundeen.
