Baker, K.W., Dr. (1877? - 9 APR 1959)
Funeral services for Dr. Karl W. Baker, 81, of Turtle Lake, were held Tuesday at Hawkins with Rev. Fr. Hector Bousfield officiating.
Dr. Baker, a resident of Turtle Lake since 1946, died April 9, 1959 at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
He is survived by his wife; LaVerne, six daughters, Mrs. R. J. Voegmastek, Rib Lake; Mrs. Clyde Richelieu, Cincinnati, Ohio; Mrs. Roy Clark, Owen; Mrs. Elmer Riber, Everett, Wash.; and Margaret and Bernadette, Turtle Lake; and three sons, Bertrand, Salida, Colo.; Karl E., Houston, Texas, and Charles, Turtle Lake.
Dr. Baker was a graduate of St. John’s Military Academy, Delafield, and an alumnus of Marquette University, and for many years practice medicine in Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) during the late 1920’s and early 30’s.
