Vetterkind, Evelyn O. (11 APR 1959)
Evelyn O’Della Vetterkind, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Vetterkind, route 1, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and James P. Seliskar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Seliskar, route 1, Greenwood, were married at a 10:00 o’clock ceremony Saturday morning, April 11, 1959, in Holy Name Catholic Church in Willard.
The Rev. Aloysius Madic officiated and musical selections were sung by Mr. and Mrs. Ruskec.
The bride wore a white satin gown featuring a neckline trimmed with pearls, short sleeves, and a satin train. She carried a colonial bouquet of red roses, white carnations and white Chantilly lace.
Miss Betty Horvat of Greenwood was maid of honor and wore a pink formal with a matching lace jacket. Miss Angie Horvat of Willard was bridesmaid and was dressed in a yellow lace and satin formal. Both girls carried pink, white and yellow carnation bouquets.
The groom’s attendants were Larry Fagan of Wihtee, best man, and Ernest Vetterkind, the bride’s brother, groomsman.
A dinner was served to guests at the American Legion Hall at Owen.
Mr. and Mrs. Seliskar attended schools in Greenwood and Withee, and Taylor County Teachers College. Mr. Seliskar is employed as a cheesemaker at Greenwood and his wife taught at Butlerville School. They will reside in Greenwood.
