McCern, Frank (6 July 1874 - 13 February 1962)
Frank McCern, 88, died in Victory Hospital at Stanley at 11:30 p.m. February 13. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital a few hours before from the Havenet Nursing Home in Owen.
He was born in Compton, Ill., July 6, 1874. He engaged in farming in Illinois and on December 12, 1895, was married to Mae Miller. He later moved to Wisconsin and had farmed here since 1919.
He is survived by a son, Floyd; a granddaughter, Mrs. Lawrence Scinto; and two great-grandsons of Bridgeport, Conn.; and a sister, Mrs. George Wolter of Compton, Ill.
Services were held in Owen Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Ralph Stone officiating. Interment was made in the Riverside Cemetery, at Withee.
