Ayers, Gladys (Marriage - 19 February 1962)
Nuptial vows were exchanged February 19 in a double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Mrs. Gladys Ayers, Rt. 1, Neillsville, and Robert E. Lange, Kansasville. The Rev. Fr. Robert J. McCormick of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dover-Racine performed the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a pale blue silk organza in ballerina-length dress. A nylon lace jacket and matching gloves and hat complemented her attire. She wore a corsage of pink roses.
The groom’s daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pfeiffer, attended the couple as bestman and matron of honor. Uncle and aunt of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rohleder, were groomsman and bridesmaid. Harry Ayers, Jr., Rt. 1 Neillsville and Donald Lange were the ushers.
The groom operates a restaurant in Kansasville.
Those from away attending the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ayers, Jr., of Rt. 1 Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Radke of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Denis Kuechenmeister of Kenosha and Nancy Ayers of Neillsville, all children of the bride; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rohleder and son, Mr. and Mrs. William Seelow, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Harrington, Milwaukee and Cudahy.
