Joe Lowe was at Marshfield yesterday.

Wm. Poate has purchased the Steihl house on Oak Street.

Mrs. Chas. Gay of Hudson is here for a couple of days’ visit with Mrs. Thomas Lowe.

E.F. French of Los Angeles is here for a few days’ visit at the home of Mrs. Mattie Youmans.

Herman Deutchland, who moved to Chicago a couple of months ago, died there last week.  He had been ailing for several months and when here was in very poor health.

Arthur Wilding was at Marshfield Tuesday to visit his uncle, Thomas Hitchcock, who is in the hospital there recovering from an operation.

The Ladies Aid of the M.E. Church will entertain at the church parlors Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 18.  Entertaining committee, Mesdames Rowe, Rabenstein, Monk and Dwyer.  Everyone invited.

The following gentlemen have been appointed by the local M.W.A. as delegates to the county convention: J.B. Lowe, Geo. Ure, Gus. Krause, C.M. Bradford, Cecil Verbeck, W. Huntley, Dr. Matheson and H.E. Korman.

The remains of Mrs. Barbara Meyer were brought here from St. Paul today and funeral services will be held in St. John’s Church this afternoon.  Deceased was a former resident of this city and died Feb. 9^th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Foth.
