Huntley, Richard (1845 - 14 Feb 1914)
Richard Huntley died at his home in Minneapolis last Saturday. He was born in Milwaukee in 1845 and removed to West Bend when he was two years of age and at which place he resided for many years. He served in the Civil War in the 1st, Wis., Heavy Artillery until the close of the war. He moved to the town of Weston in this county in 1868 and about 30 years ago he moved to Chippewa Falls. Last November he went to Minneapolis to make his home with his daughter and at whose home his death occurred after a lingering illness.
Mr. Huntley was a man of fine characteristics and he was well known here and held in high esteem. He was a brother of Mayor William Huntley of this city. The funeral occurred at Chippewa Falls last Monday.
