Funeral services for Charles Wehling who died in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, at 7:30 p.m. December 24, were held in Trinity Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. J. G. Pfohl officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ed Rohloff, David Smith, Hugh Darton, Arnold Stumpner, Edd Dobbe, and Ervin Schmidt.
The hymns, :Asleep in Jesus" and "Abide With Me", were sung by Mrs. Romaine Rossow and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner. The congregation sang, "Abide with Me." Miss Margaret Ann Rottjer was organist.
Those from away who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wichman, Appleton; Mrs. Herman Court, Earl Court, and Archie Court, Seymore; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Williamson, Ogdenburg; Mr. and Mrs. Roe Williamson, Sidney, Michigan’ Frank Wehling and Frank Junn, Pewaukee; Mrs. Agnes Schorer, Colby; Joseph Radtke, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ertl, Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Greeler, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Lindal Nibbe, Abbotsford; and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rhode, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Englebretson, Greenwood; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ley, Chili.
