Neillsville, Wisconisin Locals  (22 February 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Cattanach and children of Wisconsin Rapids were weekend visitors at the Joe and Ernest Horehled homes.  Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Horehled and family visited Mr. and Mrs. William Beyer Saturday and Mrs. Romuald (Maxine) Schmidt Friday evening.

 

David Glassbrenner, who started high school in Neillsville, is the leading heavyweight wrestler in Eau Claire Senior High School this year.  His weight is around 180 pounds.  His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Waldemar Glassbrenner, formerly lived in Dewhurst.  His brother, Charles, works here.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson of Madison visited their son-in-law and daughter, Judge and Mrs. Lowell D. Schoengarth, last weekend.  They made the trip to Neillsville with Circuit Judge Bruce F. Beilfuss, who is holding court in Madison.

 

Mrs. Russel Vandeberg was host to the All-Spice Homemakers club Monday evening.

 

Mrs. Paul Bieneck was to entertain the Pine Valley Homemakers Wednesday in the afternoon.

 

Harold Pischer was released from Memorial Hospital Monday afternoon.  He was taken there Friday evening following a fall.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Short and Mary Jo of Neillsville visited his mother, Mrs. Eugene Short, in the Town of Grant Sunday.

 

William Schulz of the Town of Hewett entered Memorial Hospital Monday for major surgery this week.

 

The Rev. and Mrs. E. G. Burtness returned Friday from Minneapolis, where they attended a church conference.

 

Donald Ruedy of River Falls visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ruedy, last weekend.

 

Tom Brown, Margie Gould, Nancie Nero and Jane Hore of Oshkosh were weekend visitors at the Rev. Frank B. Harcey home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Moss and children of Mosinee visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hauge last weekend.
