Lindquist, Emma (19 September 1902 - 25 February 1962)
Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Chili for Mrs. Emma Lindquist, 59, of rural Granton, who died Sunday in Neillsville. The Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated and burial was made in the Sherwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Lindquist, the former Emma Neilsen, was born September 19, 1902, in Nebraska. She received her education in the schools in Marquette, Nebr., and on June 3, 1925 was married to Edward Lindquist. They had been residents of the Town of Sherwood for the last 24 years. She had taught schools for many years in Clark and Wood counties.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Norma Hutchison, Omaha, Nebr.; two grandchildren; three sisters: Mrs. Halgar Frank, Rushville, Nebr., Mrs. Neils Wooder, Marquette, Nebr., and Mrs. Albert Jensen, Seattle, Wash.; and two brothers, A. C. Neilsen, Oswego, Ore., and Herman Neilsen, Bemidji, Minn.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton.
