Blaskowski, John, Sr. (23 April 1897 - 26 February 1962)
A requiem high mass was read Saturday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic Church for John Blaskowski, Sr., 64, who died February 26 in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers were members of the American Legion, Haugen-Richmond Post No. 73. They were: Gust Carl, Otto Dux, Joseph Hartung, P. C. Ludovic, Arne Peterson and Emil Wesenberg.
Those from away here for the rites were: Edward Blaskowski and Raymond Blaskowski, Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. James Long, Pocahontas, Ill.; and Theodore Blaskowski of the armed forces located in Germany.
