Hansen, Hans (4 October 1889 - 1 March 1962)
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from Nazareth Lutheran Church for Hans Hansen, 72, long-time resident of Withee who died of a heart attack in his home Thursday evening. Rev. Beryl Knudsen officiated and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hansen was born October 4, 1889, in Omaha, Nebr. He was married September 7, 1914, to the former Anna Petersen, who died in 1949. Later he married Rose Slock and they continued living on the same place which he had occupied for 60 years, since coming to Withee.
He was an insurance salesman at the time of his death, and had been a director of the Midland Co-operative and the Federal Land Bank.
He was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters and two sons by his first marriage; Mrs. Grant Anderson of Withee, Mrs. Harry Dale, Crotteau, Mont., Lester of Withee, and Warren of Milwaukee; and 10 grandchildren.
