Lampi, Terry M. #2 (30 DEC 1943 - 18 MAY 1959)
Terry Michael Lampi, the son of Michael and Jeanette (nee Fellbaum) Lampi, passed away at 1:15 a.m. May 18, 1959 at Condell Memorial Hospital in Libertyville, Ill., of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was born Dec. 30, 1943 at Stanley, Wis. and reached the age of 15 years, 4 months and 15 days.
Terry attended the Bee Hive School for five years, when he moved to Highland Park, Ill., and then to Mundelein, Ill., where he lived until his death.
He was a freshman at Libertyville, Fremont High School and a confirmed member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church.
Terry was an artist and worked in oils, his other hobbies were model trains and rock polishing.
He was very well liked and leaves a host of young friends to mourn his loss.
Services were held at Burnett Funeral Home at Mundelein, Ill., May 18 at 8:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul Nelson officiating. His remains were brought to Owen, being escorted by his father and his cousin, Jerry Johnson.
Funeral services were held at Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home Thursday, May 21, at 2:00 p.m., with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Wilkman officiated. Pallbearers were Terry’s uncle, Joseph Lampi, his cousin, Jerry Johnson, Douglas Braithwaite, Ross Braithwaite, Herb Neuman and Frank Juntunen. Singers and flower girls were Carol Kangas, Shirley Schnoor and Sue Kuehn.
Survivors include his parents, two sisters, Sandra and Penny, two brother, Michael and Steven, his paternal grandfather, Matt Lampi, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Fellbaum, aunts, Gert Lampi, Ina Johnson and Mary Peeva, and uncles, Joseph Lampi and Don Fellbaum, and cousins and a host of close friends.
