Kovatch, Mary #2 (24 APR 1876 - 24 JUN 1959)

Funeral Mass was said for Mrs. Mary Kovatch at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Saturday, June 27, with Rev. H. L. Crubel officiating.  Interment was made at Riverside Cemetery.  Pallbearers were her sons, John, Frank, Charles, Fred, Mike and grandson, John.

Mrs. Kovatch died June 24^th, 1959 at 2:00 o’clock in the morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, the cause of her death being heart attack.

In the year of 1896 she married Gerney Kovatch in a ceremony performed at Prevoije, Yugoslavia.  To this union six sons and two daughters were born: John, Owen; Frank, Duluth, Minn.; Charles, Owen; Mike, Owen, and Fred of Minnesota; Mrs. William (Anna) O’Leary and Mrs. John (Mary) Arnie.

Mrs. Kovatch was born April 24, 1876 at Prevoije, Yugoslavia.  She received her education there.  After her marriage she devoted her time to being a house wife and mother, and was a devout church member.
