Ray, Sandra Jean (29 AUG 1959)
Miss Sandra Jean Ray, Evansville, Ind., and Kenneth D. Fakes, route 2, Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), were married Saturday August 29, 1959, in a 4:00 p.m. ceremony at Green Grove Lutheran Church near Colby.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Dortha L. Buente and Hubert A. Ray, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fakes.
The Rev. H.A. Timmerman officiated.
The bride wore a pink embroidered sheath with matching hat and shoes and her flowers were a corsage of white roses.
Mrs. Galen Erdman of Colby was matron of honor and was dressed in yellow with a similar corsage.
Galen Erdman of Colby was best man. A wedding and shower dance were held at Atwood Hall following the ceremony.
The couple will make their home in Ft. Wayne, Ind., where the groom is stationed with the U.S. Air Force.
