Watson, Lorraine O. (2 OCT 1959)
Miss Lorraine O. Watson chose Friday, Oct. 2, 1959 for her wedding day with the ceremony taking place at the First Methodist Church at Ogden, Utah.
Rev. Franklin McDaniel officiated at the 7:30 double ring candlelight service when Miss Watson exchanged vows with Mr. Sam H. Sefren. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. H. O. Watson, former rural Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) residents and now living in Ogden, and Mrs. Susie Sefren of Winterset, Iowa.
Mr. Watson escorted his daughter down the aisle to the altar bedecked with baskets of gladilis and carnations. Miss Watson wore a waltz length gown of aqua chiffon. The bodice was fitting with a scoop neckline which tapered to a V. The skirt was very full. To complete her ensemble Miss Watson wore a short veil which was decorated with seeded pearls and she wore a white orchid corsage.
Mrs. H.E. Cromwell, the bride’s sister, was the matron of honor. She selected a cocoa brown lace sheath and wore dark accessories. Her flowers consisted of pink and white roses.
The groom, wearing a charcoal gray business suit, had Garn Stewart for his best man. He wore a business suit of dark gray.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the bride’s parents home which was beautifully decorated for the occasion.
Mr. and Mrs. Sefrin left for Twin Falls and Sun Valley, Idaho on their wedding trip. Upon their return they will reside at 3133 Jefferson, Ogden, Utah, where Mr. Sefren is employed as an electrician at the Ogden Electric Co., and Mrs. Sefren is employed at the Hart Drug Store as a sales clerk.
