—A report was sent out from Greenwood last week saying that the Upham Manufacturing Company had sold to the Foster Lumber Co. of Fairchild forty forties of land situated near that City and on which there is a valuable water power site.

Consideration $40,000.  Negotiations for this sale have been going on for some time and no doubt the transfer may take place, but at present that portion of the Upham Co. in this city, which is considerable, is not aware that the deal has been closed.
