Crane, Kenneth E. (? - 15 DEC 1959)
Kenneth E. Crane, Chippewa Falls businessman, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 15, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a lingering disease.
Mr. Crane was born in Weyauwega, Wis. He attended Chippewa Falls High School and was graduated from St. John’s Military Academy, Delafield, in 1921, after which he attended Lawrence College in Appleton. He graduated from Armour Institute of Technology in Chicago in 1927, and had been associated in business with his brother in the E.J. Crane & Sons Elevators. On March 9, 1929, he married Phyllis Cranle of Eau Claire.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. E.J. Crane; his brother, Donald F., and his sister, Kathleen, all of Chippewa Falls.
Mr. Crane was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church, the Elks Lodge, the Masonic Lodge, the 32nd Degree of the Eau Claire Consistory. He was also a member of the Shriners’ Tripoli Temple in Milwaukee, and the Chippewa Falls Shrine Club.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Roger Craig Bell officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
