Abramowicz, Alex (1886? - 2 JAN 1960)
Funeral services were held a week ago Tuesday for Alexander Abramowicz, 73, Lublin, who died Jan. 2, 1960 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.
A farmer, Mr. Abramwicz was born in Poland. He married Mary Victorey in Pennsylvania.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Mary Vnuk, Cudahy, Mrs. Frank Nelson, Chicago, Mrs. Steve Frankiewicz, Withee, and Mrs. Joe Halenka, Milwaukee; three sons, Walter, Thorp, Sylvester, Stanley, and Edward, Lublin; four step-sons, Mike and John Victorey of Cudahy, George Victorey, Gilman, and Andrew Victorey, Kenosha; a brother, Frank of Pennsylvania, and other brothers and sisters in Poland; 35 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Officiating at the services was the Rev. Eugene Knopka. Burial was in the St. Stanislaus parish cemetery.
